Aliva UK is part of Gruppo Ivas, with headquarters in Rimini, Italy. The UK Company was established in 2002, with the objective of creating a business that could offer a complete façade package, from the design and manufacture of the system, as well as the installation through a network of approved contractors. Aliva manufactures a range of rainscreen facades, and several unique insulated render systems.
Karen Oliff, Business Development Manager at Aliva UK, said: "We supply both standard and bespoke systems including porcelain stoneware, glass, metal, extruded aluminium, grescovering, stone, HPL and mesh. We also manufacture and sell 1.8 million sqm of our own insulated render system, TermoK8, as we are market leaders in many parts of Europe. The UK office at Theale, Reading, is the base for the Technical & Design team who cover the whole of the UK.
"We offer a unique and reliable option for rainscreen facades and insulated render systems. From the early inception stages of the project through to completion, Aliva offer technical advice and assistance, assisting with the detailing, design and manufacturing of the cladding support systems, provision and detailing of the cladding interfacing, and advice with the installation of the system in conjunction with one of our approved contractors.
"Our Insulated Render business is run by a team with extensive experience of BSF and education projects albeit with previous employers. We worked very closely with Carillion and the project architects in 2009 and secured five schemes under the Nottingham BSF programme and also four projects under the scheme in Bradford to name a few. Aliva and Gruppo Ivas have vast international experience in working on large scale developments.
"We do not install our material but we do however offer training to our installers under the Master G training academy. This school focuses on new installers entering the industry.
