Designs Signage Solutions' in-house creative team is imaginative in its approach to print requirements and believes that it can input significantly in the visual impact within the schools being delivered under the BSF programme. The company is also able to provide general signage requirements such as building and gate signs, as well as the usual way finding signs, all with modern designs and to regulations where applicable.
Martin Collishaw, National Sales Manager at Designs Signage Solutions, said: "We are aware of the investment in Hull's schools and being involved in this would mean a significant contribution to our growth and stability. We have new products and concepts that we would like to introduce, which if launched through the city's BSF programme would mean we could increase our workforce. Many of our staff have attended the schools in the project, and have children attending them, and would see it as a personal achievement to be involved.
"We see the supply to these projects as integral to our growth, and we are already involved in recruiting, via local colleges, individuals wanting to pursue careers in the signage industry. The work we would hope to gain being involved in this project would involve increasing the recruits we take in each year.
"We work under capacity to enable us to meet the demands on new projects without affecting our service levels and quality. This is in both manpower and even more so in plant and equipment so the short term effect of a spike in work would not impact in our efficiency. We would hope to be involved throughout the build programme and would see the long term effect of launching our new and existing product range to the regions education establishments. We would also hope to continue this when the schools are up and running, and assist in signage requirements over their lifetime."
