Hull-based printing company G4 provides high quality print facilities and materials. With 30 years experience in the industry, constantly evolving to integrate the latest technology to stay one step ahead, G4 is one of the region's leading printers, working with a prestigious list of clients that includes the Hull Esteem Consortium.
Having joined the Hull Esteem Consortium team to provide a range of printing for the Esteem Expo in June 2010, G4 became part of the HU postcode commitment that is a key part of the consortium's plans in delivering Hull's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme on behalf of Hull City Council.
Gary Clark, business development manager at G4, said: "G4 has worked closely with the Hull Esteem Consortium on a number of different aspects to their work with the Hull BSF programme. For the initial bid, we printed all of the literature, with people from Hull Esteem Consortium being camped in the offices and working alongside us through the night on occasions to produce the highest quality literature for the bid.
"We also supplied all of the signage for the Hull Esteem Consortium offices in the city centre, as well as producing the branding for the Esteem Expo at Hull Truck Theatre at the end of June.
"G4 had already built a strong relationship with Sewell Group, meeting with them on numerous occasions before the Hull BSF came about, and it was a natural progression for us, as a Hull company, to be involved in supplying the print facilities for the Hull Esteem Consortium bid.
"It has been fantastic to see the success of the BSF bid, as there appears to be benefits for everyone in the city, including ourselves. The initial project, creating the bid, was very in depth for us, and as a result of being involved, the awareness of G4 in the city and beyond has increased. It is fantastic to be involved with an organisation like Hull Esteem Consortium, and hopefully what we have already worked on will stand us in good stead for any future involvement with the BSF projects.
"The fact that Hull Esteem Consortium is keeping everything local should be applauded. With the investment involved finding its way to a large amount of businesses in the city, it gives a major plus point to an already excellent programme, and the benefits will be felt throughout the city."
