The team at KCS are now switching their attention to the work that Hull Esteem Consortium are undertaking across the city, delivering brand new schools as part of Hull's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project.
KCS's team, led by Sean, Helen and Martin Carrison, are experts in meeting the requirements of customers, displaying a commitment to the standards that customers expect of KCS, as well as the standards that the business strives to achieve in every job it undertakes. The chance to work on the BSF project is one that KCS has been actively involved in from the first phase of the development.
Sean, director at Kingston Cleaning Services, said: "To work on a project like the Hull BSF ensures our stability and provides us with the scope to expand even further. We are a growing business with a strong focus on employing local people, so we share a key belief with Hull Esteem Consortium and are thrilled that Kingston Cleaning Services is part of the supply chain for the programme.
"In the short term, this has helped to stabilise not only the company, but the jobs of our staff. We continue to prioritise our recruitment in the HU postcode area as a result. The company has just moved in to new premises in the centre of Hull, so we are moving forward with plenty of optimism for the future.
"The construction of new schools in the city is vital if we are to do something about the negative reputation that Hull has around the country, particularly with the education league tables. This project gives the city the chance to put things right and, with local business and local people at the heart of it all, the whole of Hull will benefit.
"As the work comes available, the scope is there to set up specific teams within our organisation to manage individual projects. They will focus on separate areas of the business, delivering our services in an efficient way as and when they are required on the school projects. We have plenty of experience on education schemes, carrying out everything from window cleaning to full renovation, and the feedback we have received has always been of the highest order."
