Kingston Joinery Contractors is one of Yorkshire's most efficient commercial joinery contractors. Based in Hull, the company offers its clients a full joinery package right through from initial engagement to final completion and handover.
With Hull Esteem Consortium in the process of compiling its supply chain that will deliver Hull's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project to the city on behalf of Hull City Council, Kingston Joinery Contractors are planning ahead, using their experience on a range of school projects to plan a potential involvement on the construction of 17 new schools in Hull.
Craig O'Leary, managing director at Kingston Joinery Contractors said: "The project is a fantastic initiative and the ethos behind it has the potential to make a big difference to Hull. Local labour will be a key focus of the project, with local businesses being involved in the supply chain, which will ensure that the majority of the money remains in the city.
"As far as Kingston Joinery is concerned, it would enable us to create more jobs, both on a workforce level and a management level. At the present moment in time, we are operating with a sizeable workforce, which would enable us to cope in the short-term, but an increased workload would require further numbers to provide assistance.
"We provide a full management service, with an experienced workforce of project managers, site managers and time-served joiners possessing the skills and knowledge that have seen us successfully complete projects throughout the UK. We work across the commercial sector, on a range of projects that include medical centres, office developments and hotels, as well as education projects.
?In the long-term we would be able to expand the business, through the contacts and working relationships we would develop at the heart of the Hull BSF project. The ideal scenario would be the development of a partnership agreement between ourselves and the key contractors of the project, which would give us plenty of options moving forwards."
