The company has operated in the industry for over 30 years, supplying an impressive range of clients across not only the education sector, but also for the health industry and research and development establishments.
Lab Systems Furniture has, built up a level of expertise that covers design, manufacture and installation of laboratory furniture and equipment. Using their experience throughout the education industry, Lab Systems Furniture is now turning its attentions to the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project that will transform the education provision in Hull.
Geoff Lound, director at Lab Systems Furniture, said: "For the development of Hull as a city, there is a need to develop existing and new skills that will push the city forward, it is important that companies from the Hull area are a part of the Hull BSF project.
"Investment is a key solution to recover from the recession, and the investment in the Hull BSF project will make a huge difference to the local economy, providing much needed employment as well as benefits and stability to the local supply chain.
"As a company, we are already implementing new systems that we will use if we become part of the supply chain. One of the long-standing aspects of Lab Systems Furniture is a strong focus on employing local staff, which we would continue to do on this project.
