Having just celebrated 20 years in business, Hull-based Mason Clark Associates continue to provide consultancy services in Engineering and Building Surveying. The company carries out work with a number of clients throughout the UK covering all aspects of Civil & Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Project Management and CDM-C services.
Using innovative designs and the latest software and design codes, the practice is committed to providing a cost effective, quality service to its client base - one that now includes the Hull Esteem Consortium. Work that the company has contributed to Kelvin Hall School and Kingswood College of Arts has put Mason Clark Associates in the supply chain for the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
The work carried out at these sites looked at the accessibility of the schools, providing reports and designs for entrance roads, including cycleways, footpaths and footbridges.
The efficient and cost-effective service offered by Mason Clark Associates to clients, ranging from national companies to individuals, covers the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. As well as the experience gained in a number of sectors, Mason Clark Associates has the benefit of an extensive portfolio of previous work undertaken in the education sector.
This includes carrying out structural engineering work on the £15million extension to Hull Collegiate School and the £3.5million amalgamation scheme at Willerby Carr Lane Junior School - projects that the company believes contributed to Hull Esteem Consortium's choice to award them the contract for the BSF programme.
Andy Thompson, director at Mason Clark Associates, said: "The decision to use local Consultants and Contractors by the Hull Esteem Consortium is great news for the city. The projects that Mason Clark Associates have previously been involved in successfully demonstrated our proven track record and gave us confidence that we could deliver designs for the new schools which are part of the BSF programme.
"Mason Clark Associates prides itself in employing high calibre staff who live locally, and for us to work on these high profile local projects would allow us grow our company with additional local staff. The use of local staff allows for sustainability in the local economy and benefits the city as a whole."
