Nuway are one of the UK's leading audio-visual installation companies, specialising in providing education based systems. Having been based in Hull since the company was founded in 1978, the organisation has developed a reputation as a well-respected company that delivers a high-quality and unparalleled service to every customer, through its team of fully qualified and experienced staff, and Nuway are now preparing to be involved in Hull's Building Schools for the Future project.
By utilising an envied pool of knowledge, coupled with industry leading technologies, Nuway offers clients throughout the UK a service that not only guarantees excellence, but ensures a reliable and trustworthy job is carried out by its engineers to meet the demands of its customers.
Led by managing director Chris Bursell and general manager Danny Hird, Nuway has a wealth of experience in their industry, something they are looking to bring to the table as they gear up for potentially becoming a member of Hull Esteem Consortium's supply chain.
Danny said: "The fact that Hull Esteem Consortium are looking to use businesses from HU postcodes is very important with this being a local project. Hull's construction industry needs the work at the moment across all sectors, to provide a much needed boost to the local economy, and this programme will play a big part in doing that, by providing local companies with work on the projects.
"At Nuway, we want to be part of the project to play a part in the improvement of education for children. We have been speaking to people from Hull Esteem Consortium for some time now, discussing how Nuway can be of benefit to the project.
"The services we offer will all be locally coordinated and delivered, emphasising the HU values that the project is working towards, and our location means that we can provide a level of customer service that is personal and close to home. We have a wealth of experience in working on education projects, of all sizes, and the knowledge we have collected from these projects will enable us to offer Hull Esteem Consortium benefits from System Design, through to installation & support.
"One aspect of our planning that we are already considering is the need for further recruitment to meet the demands of Hull Esteem Consortium and the projects they are looking to deliver. We already have a large team at Nuway, but we would definitely look to recruit more staff, this would include apprentices & experienced engineers.
"From a business point-of-view, being involved in Hull's Building School's for the Future project will provide us with a guarantee of work, which is obviously an ideal position to be in. The added benefits will be the opportunity to undergo a recruitment drive to facilitate the work, which will allow us to evolve the business and to further develop the reputation that Nuway has across the country."
