RDS Training was established in 2008 with a firm belief that training should be provided to individuals and organisations by those directly involved with the industry in question, focussing on realistic situations and uncomplicated ways of communicating.
The team at RDS have over 20 years experience in various aspects of the security industry, including police, military and HM Customs and Excise backgrounds.
Chris Lockton of RDS Training said: "Our mission to offer approachability with our training links in with Hull Esteem Consortium's aims to keep the BSF programme focussed on benefitting the local area. Our involvement with the programme has provided us with a host of new opportunities, ones which wouldn't exist without the continued efforts to keep resources coming from within the city."
The team at RDS provided training for members of Hull Esteem Consortium in Emergency First Aid, with further training in Fire Safety Awareness and Health and Safety in the Workplace due to follow in 2012. These training courses are helping to ensure that there is a legacy of higher skilled and more knowledgeable individuals long after the BSF work in the city is finished.
RDS do not stop at training courses for personnel in general office environments, but their courses in Responsible Retailing in Alcohol and Food Safety in Catering cross numerous other sectors. All the courses offered at RDS are taught with the public in mind, be that public sector employees or staff that work directly with the public.
