Rollits

As one of Yorkshire's leading law firms, Rollits has worked with a range of companies across all sectors, delivering an extensive portfolio of legal services to clients, ranging from major PLCs to small private companies.

Based in Hull, with another office in York, Rollits worked with Hull Esteem Consortium to secure the lease of the offices where the Hull Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme is controlled from.

Glenn Craft, a partner at Rollits, said: "Rollits provided Hull Esteem Consortium with the required legal services for the lease of their new office premises in Hull City Centre. Rollits worked hand in hand with Hull Esteem Consortium to complete the arrangements on time.

"Everyone in the Hull business community believes that using local companies is so important, particularly to keep the Hull economy moving. It is essential that local service providers are being used on a project of the size of the Hull BSF, to take advantage of the high quality levels of skills and expertise that are available in Hull. It's generally seen as a crying shame when work is taken away from local business, instead favouring those from outside of the city, so the fact that Hull Esteem Consortium is using companies from HU postcode areas, like Rollits, is really encouraging.

"The Hull BSF programme is fundamental to the development of the city. Historically, Hull has suffered from a lack of funding, so the investment that Hull Esteem Consortium is bringing, focusing on the education sector, will have a huge impact. Anything that helps to drive educational standards up is good news. We all want to give the children of Hull a fighting chance, and the whole programme can help the people of Hull prosper for many years to come."
