Stage Systems is a specialist company involved in the design, supply and installation of stage equipment. The company can provide a total drama solution, including the installation of staging, stage lighting, sound equipment, curtains/drapes and audience seating. With a history working in the education sector, Stage Systems is looking to use its experience as it aims to become a part of the Hull BSF programme.
Based in Loughborough in the East Midlands, Stage Systems has been in operation for more than 40 years, focusing on educational drama to provide cost effective yet suitable solutions for schools, individually catering each project to their requirements.
Paul Donovan, managing director of Stage Systems, said: "As a business, we pride ourselves in delivering excellent products and customer service, working with professional 'consortia' such as Hull Esteem Consortium to deliver client focused solutions is key to business and mission. Working on this scheme would prove valuable to our business in many ways.
"We would be able to bring 40 years experience in 'Educational Drama' and be able to advise and provide cost effective, yet suitable, solutions for each individual school. We have worked on and successfully completed work within the BSF programmes in Leeds, Leicester and Knowsley, as well as work on Walworth Academy, Samworth Academy and NLL Academy in Kent. We have worked on 14 schools across the three aforementioned BSF programmes, as well as numerous other school and education projects.
"The short term effect would be to maintain employment at Stage Systems and our supply chain, and the longer term benefits of working on prestigious projects like this are very valuable. In addition we could offer a full planned and preventative maintenance contract on all of our installations, which will ensure high standards are maintained at all facilities."
