Transwaste Ltd opened its first depot in 2002 in Hessle, East Yorkshire. The company experienced business developments enabling them to open a second depot in 2009 in the centre of Kingston upon Hull. The same year saw the company move the primary depot location to Melton, residing on the new industrial site.
The company provides skip hire of all sizes - from wheelie bins to large skips covering 50 cubic yards. Transwaste also sort mixed materials for recycling, including metal, cardboard, refuse derived fuel, wood and green waste. The company provides its service nationwide throughout the East Yorkshire and region.
Transwaste provided skip hire and waste management to Archbishop Sentamu Academy and Winifred Holtby School during the initial phase of the Building Schools for the Future programme. Being part of the project was important to the company and boosted the local emphasis of their work.
