Universal Services is one of the leading manufacturers and installers of quality sports equipment in the UK. Based in Essex, the company manufacture everything from basketball and football equipment, to climbing frames, trampolines and all other equipment needed to kit out a new sports hall facility. Universal Services also has a full maintenance department which services and repairs equipment.
The company was set up in 1978 by two partners, who have grown the business to the size it is today. One of these partners sits on the European Standards committee, which devises and publishes all of the European standards for PE and gymnasium equipment manufacture.
Kate Denny at Universal Services, said: "We would love to be involved in the Hull BSF project. Our involvement means that the Hull schools would be equipped with the very best equipment, which will not only be cost effective but also durable and easy to use.
"We offer a full package, from involvement at conception stage with the architect working with them right the way through to working with the building contractors, to make sure that they meet programme deadlines.
"Universal Services has worked with a number of BSF schemes throughout the country, including Bristol, Sheffield and Knowsley. As well as BSF projects, we have extensive experience on school and education projects across the country, something which has developed the company's reputation as a supplier of high quality sports equipment.
