Waldeck Engineering

Based in Hull, with a further five offices throughout the East of England, Waldeck Engineering is a forward thinking company that provides a wide range of Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy services to clients nationwide, in a wide range of sectors. As Hull's education sector prepares to be transformed by the Building Schools for the Future project that Hull Esteem Consortium are delivering on behalf of Hull City Council, Waldeck Engineering are actively planning to be involved as a part of the supply chain that will deliver the projects.

The company is as adept at providing expert guidance and advice for structural and civil engineering as it is with pre-planning and pre-acquisition, structural surveying and both BREEAM and energy assessments. With over 15 years experience at the top of their field, the team behind a number of high profile projects has extensive experience in the education sector, a service that Waldeck Engineering believes is made to measure for a partnership with Hull Esteem Consortium.

Paul Byrne, associate director at Waldeck Engineering, said: "We set up our office in 2009 and having established ourselves in the city, the Hull BSF project would provide us with the opportunity to make a difference in the city and to build up our reputation in Hull.

"As civil and structural engineers, we have gained experience in the education sector, both as a company and on an individual basis with the people who we have working within the organisation, which will benefit us as we look to become a part of the supply chain for the BSF project.

"Hull's reputation has suffered in the past with regards to education, both primary and secondary, so a development like this will enhance the way that people think about Hull making a huge difference to everyone in the city, not only those working in education but also local businesses that are set to be directly involved.

"Waldeck Engineering specialises in providing a commercially aware service, with a focus on economical solutions that will reduce costs for our clients without losing sight of the quality and creativity required in a project. Through working closely with contractors we have developed cost effective ways of managing a project, which we are now keen to deliver to the Hull BSF project."
