September 2011 not only marked the opening of the first three brand new schools delivered by Hull Esteem Consortium, it also saw the launch of The Exchange, a hub designed to help young people with employability and skills issues.
Located in Wilberforce Court, in the same building as Hull Esteem Consortium’s offices, The Exchange will create a lasting legacy in terms of assisting various different agencies that support local young people, whether that be through work experience, enterprise opportunities, gaining life skills or supporting a route into education, employment or training.
Whilst Hull Esteem Consortium's primary objective is the successful delivery of the city’s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, we are also committed to having a broader positive impact in Hull and the surrounding area. Regeneration is about more than just bricks and mortar and Hull Esteem Consortium is dedicated to ensuring the wider benefits of the BSF programme are maximised. The Exchange is a perfect example of that.
To help us fine tune what is on offer at The Exchange we would love to receive your input. Please take a couple of minutes to fill in a feedback questionnaire, there’s one for businesses and one for schools!
